La Comté

La Comté

Bi-material coffee tampers.

Small sawmills often struggle to sell their stocks of damaged wood or gnawed by xylophagous insects. This project is based on the revaluation of acacia, douglas and walnut falls, emblematic wood species of Auvergne.

Throughout veins and cracks, white pewter marries the wood. Textures and contrasts are revealed during woodturning : matt / shiny, veined / plain, warm / cold. These emotions influence the barista know-how.
