Loofah premium packaging.

“ Traditionally used as exfoliating sponges, loofah comes from the inside of some squash (cucurbits). Harvested without damaging the soil, they are then dried in the sun until all that remains is the fibers network. Loofahs reproduce quickly with low ecological impact. We then decided to explore its properties to give it new uses. ”

These wine and spirit bottle envelopes are excellent protection, in addition to being thermal insulating and eco-friendly. This premium loofah packaging is pressed first before being cut and crimped around the glass bottles.

Before sending to the distributor or the consumer, the wine merchant immerses the bottles in water. The loofah resumes its expanded state in a few minutes by shape resilience : the shock absorption qualities are increased and then ensure safe transport. Finally, once the packaging is removed, the loofah can be recycled as a sponge or biodegraded.
